So, we enjoyed pork spare ribs for our Memorial Day meal. I only wish I had also taken a picture three hours after this one ... when the ribs were a mouth-watering golden bronze. They tasted great!

P-Day at Chester Cathedral
We are Maureen and Larry Hixon and are referred to in the third person by our ten children and their spouses as "Parents." Thus the title of this blog. We served as missionaries in the England Manchester Mission from October 2004 to May 2006, and a C.E.S. mission at UCSB in 2007 and 2008. We currently live in Forks, Washington, where we are serving our third mission. We'll be back home in Santa Barbara next August.

we had ribs too. they were amazing!
we had ribs too! Doug smoked them in his smoker. I don't know if they tasted good beacause mom wasn't here to cut them for me...
I wanted ribs, but we had hamburgers instead. Next year!
